The lunch and dinner menu go above and beyond, and will have you running back for more. Alpha Pizza, Pasta, and Prime is tucked away at the end of Apollo Beach Boulevard. They serve delicious pizza, pasta, salad, prime rib, and more. The atmosphere is very fun with an exceptionally great Elvis impersonator on Tuesdays and Fridays. When you need to get a bit of shopping done, Sun City Center down the road has Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Bealls, and other stores for the essential items you may need. Also in that area are yummy places like Panera Bread and Starbucks. A regional shopping mall is in development, so Apollo Beach will have better shopping closer to home and residents won’t have to travel to cities nearby for shopping malls. For now, Westfield in Branden is a great alternative to go shopping for clothes, shoes, jewelry, and more, just 20 minutes away. The library is also a short drive away for children and adults who enjoy reading.
If you enjoy the outdoors, Apollo Beach Nature Preserve is right down the road on the bay and is great for fishing, bird watching, and picnics on the shore. This 63-acre reserve was developed for recreational purposes, so come and enjoy the nature for yourself. E.G. Simmons Regional Park has playgrounds for kids, a beach to sun bathe on, kayaking, and canoeing. The park is a natural habitat for wildlife, birds, and subtropical plants. Other places include multiple reserves and parks in and around Apollo Beach, tons of communities with parks playgrounds, trails, fitness centers, cafes, and lively residents. If you prefer to have fun in big city settings, head to Tampa, Florida thirty minutes away for amusement parks, Lowry Park Zoo, Busch Gardens, theme parks, museums, restaurants, shopping centers, malls, and so much more. Other cities to enjoy nearby are Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Bradenton, and Brandon.
